I wanted to change the "Multi" cache type to a "Traditional" but I was informed from the reviewer once a cache has been found, the type is basically hard coded and can not be changed.
This cache was placed NEAR the old foundation for the Fly Creek Lookout Tower but NOT at the site due to camping sites.
As of 3-26-2016 we reworked this one - updated container and a new location to make things "easier" for people to find.

I am placing some caches near or at Fire Lookout Towers or former tower sites.
This is one of those sites. It seems as someone else was here as well. It looked to me like they where after the Benchmark that was here way back when. The ground was dug up in the center of the tower footings. I happened to have my metal detector with me and I could not locate it with that either so I would have to say it is gone. Looks like an old fire pit was here or leftovers from the tower when it was burned.
Anyway, THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE TOWER SITE.
This is an offset cache so as to get away from the camping area and a possible muggle find.
To locate the cache, you should locate the tower base pier pads and park nearby, watching out for old guy wire anchors.
There are several caches near here so make a day of it while your out here.
