Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the end of a very short quarter-mile hike along a trail primarily used by horses.
Please park at:
N 42* 51.973'
W 077* 47.597'
Starting from anywhere else will get you walking across property you don't have permission to be on!

The cache is a .68 caliber ammo box. (You're probably wondering what .68 caliber ammo looks like right? Well, they're spherical and full of paint.) It is not hidden very well and it will probably only take you 5 minutes to find the cache. Of course, just finding the cache is never enough - You need to sign the logbook. And to sign the logbook, you need to follow these steps:

First, you need to find a signature item of mine. The difference between my signature item and everyone else's is that you can't keep mine. They're just like Travel Bugs or Geocoins - They look pretty cool and you want to keep them but you're not allowed to. These signature items will get increasingly more common in geocaches in the Avon-Geneseo-Livonia area as time goes on.

Now that you have the signature item you can finally go find the cache and sign the logbook. Don't forget to park where I told you to above! You'll follow a fence to a wide open trail in the middle of a thorn-apple woods. (Don't go past the fence!) This wide trail is where a gas-line is buried. Snow can get pretty deep here in the winter, and when it melts it can cover sections of the trail with water up to your shins. This cache was hidden during the spring melt and if you want to find the cache with dry feet - you'll need boots! In the summer, the grass can get pretty tall so I'd recommend pants. The cache is hidden near an electric fence so don't go grabbing at it.

Now that you've signed the logbook and traded for some cool swag, it is time to perform the most crucial step in completing this cache: Finding out the name of your signature item. Use the zip-lock bag of The Gathering cards to figure out what your signature item is and then PLACE THE SIGNATURE ITEM IN THE BAG WITH THE GATHERING CARDS!!! I'll redistribute the item so that other cachers can find this one.

When you get back home to log the cache on your computer please include the name of your signature item.

Failure to follow any of these steps will result in me emailing you through geocaching.com and the possible removal of your online log.

This is my first cache and I would like to hear some feedback: Good or bad. (I hope it's good.) This is an original idea of mine and I need your help to determine if it worked or not.

6/1/08 UPDATE:
There are currently 31 coins in circulation
25 are hidden in 13 separate caches
6 are being carried by geocachers
0 are in The Gathering

Just because someone found an item in one cache does not mean you'll find one in the same place.
