Paddling access only please. At least 7 feet of Tide required. Cache is at the mouth the Koksilah River; low tides will require battling river currents. Moving water skills will be helpful at low tide. Bring water shoes or boots (muddy at certain tide levels) Kayak rentals available in Cowichan Bay. Motorized boats will have problems in the channels regardless of tide level. And besides, motor boats are annoying.
The first 5 finds for this cache will get home made chocolate chip cookies! (UPDATE MAR 23, 2010: Cookies are still available!)Of course they are not in the box, but call us when you get there; if we have time we'll bake them for you right away! Otherwise, we will meet you some other time. Call us from the box (or before) if you want to picnic or walk the property. Update MAR 24, 2010, I have cleaned up the cache and apologize for mess found by Tritec. Happy Paddling!
