Was going to keep this for the Fife Cache Bash in April but thought we needed one to keep us going until then!!
Recently I was reading a book about walks in Fife and I came about this one, which starts in Pitlessie and ends at the cache site, then you head back up.
At the end of the walk the author stated that if you go into the woods you will see something that you did not expect……he didn’t elaborate, so, intrigued, I set off.
I’m not going to say anything else but leave you to either enjoy or be weirded out by this cache.
McKrytons cache ‘Devon Road’ is further down, so you can take that one in as well.
When you see the sign for the Devon path, turn into it and you will find parking spaces (approx 3) about 100 ft up the road (your car will manage easily), opposite the parking is a path that leads into the woods which you need to take, then just follow it round. When I was here a tree had fallen over the path at the start and had made a sort of arch (easy to get under).
Due to tree cover the co-ords might be off but the clue should help.
