Geocache Description:

A cache with a view of the canal and the local rowing teams that call this water home. This is a small ammo can.

This cache is along the Chesapeake and Albermarle Canal in Chesapeake. It is across the way from the boat house that is home to the Great Bridge Crew Club and Hickory Crew (high school crew clubs) and Juniper Rowing Club. If you are lucky you will catch a glimpse of the shells gliding on the water. The boats, for the most part, are made by Vespoli, hence the name of this cache.

This cache is the winner of the 2010 "Hidey Award" for Most Scenic Cache. Thanks to everyone who voted for this cache and the surprise win!
