Geocache Description:

Sightseeing with the Man in Dark

City Art Nano Cache

You certainly remember my adventures following the Man in Dark, the map I found leading to Bright Stars and my time behind Dark Bars.
This is now the fourth time I have to report on an encounter with a Man in Dark:

It was one of these nice sunny Saturday afternoons (i.e. a time when you certainly do not think about people wearing suits and dark sunglasses) when the door bell rang. I opened and could not believe my eyes: there was indeed somebody in a dark suit (and dark sunglasses) who was smiling at me. I immediately covered my eyes as I was fearing that he would flash me again to erase any residual memories I might still have from previous encounters.
But now he just said hello in a very nice way and said something about the nice sunny day that is perfect for a walk in the neighborhood.
As I did not say anything, he repeated that he had come to invite me for a walk in the neighborhood.

Slowly I gathered my senses and my curiosity was winning again.
So I asked what was the reason for such a walk and especially why me (again!)?

He smiled again and told me the most incredible story:
The aliens had been observing me and fellow Geocachers since some time now. They are very much amused by our spare time activity (especially when it comes to topics related to them). From all the information they have gathered so far (including the detailed studies of me and the ones who came to rescue me from Behind Dark Bars) they came to the conclusion that we are no threat to them at all.
However, they got the impression that we were a bit afraid of them and they wanted now to invest some efforts in improving our relationship.

This sounded quite OK to me and so I did not hesitate long and followed the stranger in dark (again). Luckily this time I did not need to hide myself from him but could just walk next to him. We were chatting about Geochaching and the various “dark caches” that had been inspired by our encounter.
The aliens seemed to be quite amused about investigations concerning pictures of italien ladies that have been painted hundreds of years ago. They had observed this particularly in the north-west of Brussels and found this whole thing very strange. I explained that it is great fun to discover these puzzles. But he could not really follow my argumentation, as he could not see any difficulties to overcome nor puzzles to solve – the whole matter was obvious for him from the very beginning. I suspect that they are quite experienced in quantum cryptography and thus all the solutions are immediately there for them. I just wonder how they know which one is the right solution ...

After all this chatting we had arrived at the starting point of our sightseeing tour. He asked me to take note of our tour and to publish it here so that other Geocachers could follow it too. I hesitated a bit but he just laughed at me and said that nobody should worry as they did not plan doing any harm to them.
Well, given all my previous experience – I still want to put a word of warning here: you are doing this at your own risk!

Good Luck!
