Geocache Description:

Black Star Canyon. The highest cliff face in Orange County that can take 30 minutes to get to by Mountain Bike, longer for hikers.

Its in a blue plastic box with a pen, log book, and some rare coins from a far off industrialized nation. This land is public land and is the sight where the spanish threw the non-converting indians over. Dont go at night because of the Indian Ghosts and the neighbors. Stay on the road until youve reached the top. There are residents out there and their land is private property. I went up the fire road but there is a creek approach at the trail head by the concrete cylinders. This should take you to the cache but there is a hell of a cliff-face you have to scale. Its do-able but i took the fire road. Elevation is 1,890 ft and coordinates are accurate up to 26 feet. The Cache is at the edge looking over the canyon under a large bus-sized boulder stuck in between the cracks of the rocks.When you get near the location on the fire road you will see these large rocks down and off to the right. Put your bike (if you have one) down just off the road behind the large bush and follow the
5ft deep by 7 ft wide creek formed by the rain until it starts to level off and there will be a hard to see trail that you have to bend over to walk through bushes to the Cache/Rocks.
