In the town-site of Pike Lake, there's a neat little collection of buildings. Town hall, elementary school, fire-hall, and a number of little out-buildings. The school creates a transition to the high school in Delisle around grade 6. Busy during the week-days. The town hall is the location of great fowl suppers, dances, and community events. Quite busy on the weekends, and some evenings. The fire-hall was built as a satellite station to work in conjunction with the Delisle and District Fire Department, and provides quick response to the neighbouring areas. Remember these are volunteers, and offering their services to the community outside of their regular work hours. Currently, they have meetings on Monday nights, so it might not be a good time to check then, but if you do, say hi...they're not THAT scary!!!
Weekdays out cause the school?! Evenings and weekends out because of the other buildings?! Stealth required? don't park in front of the building where it says "no parking", if the fire truck rolls, you better not be in the way!
