Howdy!
The River
City Geocaching & Dining Society (RCGDS) and the
Northstate Unusual
Treasure Seekers (NUTS) invite you to join us for a Meet
& Greet at Royer Park in Roseville, on Friday, May 23 from
2pm to 8pm.
Come and enjoy meeting cachers from all over the U.S. and the
world.
The day's activities include:
Early Check-in: The GeoWoodstock VI check-in
area will be open so you can check in and pick up your registration
packets, shirts and geocoins that you pre-ordered during
registration.
Store: Our GeoWoodstock Store will be open for
your convenience. Here you can pick up items that were ordered on
the Online Store. Additional shirts and geocoins will be available
for purchase. To insure the availability of shirts in the styles
and sizes you want, we encourage you to pre-order at our
Online
Store.
Dinner: From 5pm to 7pm we'll have a meal
available to purchase for $6.00. The meal will consist of your
choice of two burgers, two hot dogs, or one of each. Veggie burgers
are also available. In addition to the sandwiches, the meal
includes a bag of chips, all the condiments and one drink (water or
soda). Additional drinks can be purchased for $1 each.
In order to make sure we have enough food for everyone, when you
log your "will attend," please indicate your sandwich choices (i.e.
2 hamburgers, 1 hamburger and 1 hotdog). Proceeds from the sale of
the meal help to defray the costs of the Saturday GeoWoodstock
event.
Announcements: General announcements will be
made at 5:30 and 6:30.
Raffle: Raffle tickets will be sold all
afternoon. At 6:45 we'll have a drawing. You must be present to
win.
Geocaches: There are eight geocaches within
easy walking distance of the event and parking areas.
Night-Cache Runs: At the end of the evening
we'll be dividing into groups to go find some local Night Caches.
Details to be announced.
Mega-Event: We want this event to go "mega"
with more than 500 attendees. Log your "will attend" (with food
choice - see above) and help make this a Mega-Event.
We look forward to meeting y'all at the Meet & Greet at
Royer Park.
