Geocache Description:

When the winds of November blow early, The terrain rating will be higher.

Although seperated by the channel and lake from the busy sawmills and factories of the village, the lakeshore south of the channel had an industrial life of it's own. This stretch along Pentwater Lake was home to one of the largest shingle mills in Michigan, and also served as the northern terminus of the busy Chicago and Michigan Lakeshore Railroad.

The above coordinates will bring you to a sign in the park. Yup, you'll have to stop and read the sign.

To locate the 2nd stage you will need to
find some information on the sign.

For the north add the numbers together from the year, the "rails and ties coming into Pentwater from Mears were removed."
[1+9+X+X=?]
Mutliply that number by the number of miles removed.
Add the result to the north coordinates listed on the cache page.

For the west take the first 3 numbers from the total number of shingles that the 9 machines turned out per day and add the number of women that the mill employed.
Add the result to the west coordinates listed on the cache page.

This is a 4 stage multi.
Please rehide stages well.

Take a look for the benchmark on the way to stage 2.
