Geocache Description:

A small cache near Laleham Moorings.

The Thames Moorings series are a variation on the Thames Path series. Most of the caches will be close to the Thames Path and most likely all of them will be accessible to pedestrians. What differentiates them from others in the Thames Path series is that they are placed near public moorings for the floating equivalent of a "cache and dash", a sort of boating Motorway Mayhem.

We think the post is a City of London Corporation marker of some kind, though it is not a Coal Post.

This cache is easy to find, but requires stealth to recover, especially in the busy summer months.

Handicache rating H12121.
