ABOUT THIS CACHE:

This cache is hidden in a forgotten Conservation Area in Oshawa. Cedar Valley has long since been abandoned but people still frequent the area for a nice hike along Oshawa Creek or to view some wildlife. If you are not careful it is easy to get turned around in here with so many trails going every which way. Just to be safe mark where you park. When I placed the cache there was lots of evidence of deer frequenting the area so keep your eyes open. The cache is a 1KG PB jar. It has some natural camo on it. You will have just under moderate hike to the cache.

Parking can be found at N43 55.951 W78 53.418.
You might also be able to get to the cache from the neighborhood to the north, but I have not explored that option yet.

You may be lucky enough to find one of these magnets in this cache:

If you have, bring it to the Fling for an extra draw ticket (1 per geocaching name).

COG would like to thank the placer of this cache for helping us promote COG Spring Fling IV.
