Nice park area, Erickson Park, that is easy to get to with flat terrain. Bring your own writing tool.
This cache is a camo-covered pill bottle that will be easy to find. Erickson Park started with the purchase of the land in 1920. It was used for an airport, Salzer Field, and was previously leased. In 1932 La Crosse decided to abandon the field for the current site of the airport on French Island. The mayor suggested this land be sold, setting aside land for a small park. Today it is home to a swimming pool, tennis courts, basketball courts and a softball field. Come on out and enjoy Erickson Park.
