During another recent bash , The hoomer were
coaxed/persuaded/cajoled and enticed into organising a bash as part
of the Oxfordshire Monthly Meet series, so here it is...
The Trigger Pond is a quaint country pub with a fantastic beer
garden (although, time of year will sadly mean we wont utilise it
for any length of time). The food has been very good when we have
eaten there. The evening menu is fairly varied and costs about what
you would expect to pay. A few examples are as follows:
Fish and Chips £8.50
Ham, egg and chips £7.95
Scampi £8.25
Meat or veg Lasagne £7.95
Veg Chilli £7.95
Sirloin Steak £11.50
Gammon £10.95.
They also have a more extensive menu with starters etc but the
price reflects the 'posh' factor. They also have a wide selection
of good wines and tasty real ales. PLEASE CAN YOU MENTION IF YOU
INTEND TO EAT AT THE PUB. The pub and beer garden are child and dog
friendly but both breeds must be kept under control! Thehoomer plan
to be there from 1900hrs until the die-hards are exited from the
premises. There will now be 3 new caches close to the event.
This is our first bash and
we would really like to see cachers from far and wide if you can
make it - all will be made very welcome.
