Geocache Description:

Located near a long established eatery but not actually on the property. But you can park there.
Probably a quick park & grab and you never leave the pavement.

This is #100 in a loooong series Honoring(?) SC Geocachers.

Ok, so we are "Honoring" an organization, not an actual cacher.

But hey, it's our series and we will cheat if we wanna.
Besides, who were we going to pick on ... er...pick for #100?
I mean, we still have over 50 cachers on our list to "Honor".

For the uninitiated the SCGA is the S.C. Geocachers Association. The SCGA is the first and original organization in South Carolina that was organized to promote Geocaching in the state. There are 7 Regions that have elected Regional Representatives to assist and guide members and other cachers. There is the Upstate, Rock Hill, Pee Dee, Grand Strand, Aiken, Lowcountry and our Region, The Midlands.

But no matter what Region you cache in there is always someone to help you out. Also each month a differant Region Hosts the SCGA meeting.

Now, the SCGA is not the only group in the state; there is the SCSG; the USCGA; The SCPC; the CSRA and many, many more groups to help geocachers.

Wow, isn't that a whole bunch of Alphabet Soup?

As a matter of fact, we are forming our own Association; the SCSOGOGAATDA; or the "SC Society,Organization,Group Of Geocachers Against All These Darn Acronyms"

It is easy to join; you just first have to change your actual real name to initials only; sign ALL logs SCSOGOGAATDA (Full name, NOT the initials) and thats it. Oh, Pisces said you can send her money or jewelry too, if you want!

But all kidding aside, if you haven't been to a SCGA meeting or one of the Regional monthly meetings you should.
After all, where else can you have such fun and meet fellow cachers; and get help with any caching questions you may have.
Plus, the Lowcountry sacrifices a goat or two!
Heck, we even have Willie Nelson at our Midlands Meeting every month taking group pictures! (Ok, so it's really Smudge of Team Wee Lee but he DOES look a little like Willie!) Aiken has the Killer from the Halloween Movies little brother hosting their Regional meetings, and i have been told that they spearfish for Hammerhead Sharks at Grand Strand Meetings but we aren't sure about that.
The Upstate has some guy that dresses in a Hockey outfit and puts hickeys on people while they chicken Dance. Rock Hill has some parrothead so i guess that means they play Jimmy Buffet music.
PeeDee Regional meetings are hosted by a couple who are a Boy Scout and Archeologist that run around digging up Eagle Scout Projects.

Ok, enough poking fun. No matter WHAT Region you live or cache in you will find that here in SC; we welcome ALL Geocachers.
