Take the 101 Highway to the Lawrencetown exit. Head toward the North Mountain. Turn left at the T intersection. Turn right at Central Clarence and head over the top of the North Mountain. Turn left at the T intersection. Pass two roads on your right and as you come over the rise look for a farm on your left. Immediately after the farm is a logging road also on your left. Park and walk in along the dirt road.
I talked to the owner of the land and he had no problem with people hiking out to the Cliff. When you arrive at the Sand lake East sign turn left. Don't head down the hill to much or you will have to scramble back up the scree to reach the Cache. The last 200m is a Bushwhack. This is my first Geocache placed, it is one of my favorite spots to do hoist training with the Cormorant Helicopter. On 15th July 2006, after Tusker 914 crashed into the water off Canso Nova Scoatia, I lost 3 friends that I worked along side with and trusted with my life. Since the crash I wanted to place a cache in their honor. Clarence Cliff was known by all three members; Sgt Duane Brazil, Mcpl Kirk Noel, Cpl Trevor McDavid.
The cache is a black Ammo Can. Tied down so it won’t be blown away from down draft of Helicopter.
