Located as part of the Austwick round of caches, A nice afternoons circular walk. Others in the round are: Norbers Eratics,Half a Mile ahead,Sulber Gate,Moughton Scar, Trow Gill and Gaping Ghyll. An interesting round covering the Limestone pavements and the base of Inglebourgh.
A Regular Cache,to keep the interest whilst doing this round of caches in the area. (PLEASE BE EXTRA CAREFUL SEARCHING AS NOT TO CAUSE ANY DAMAGE OR DISTURB THIS LOCATION).
Located Under a flat stone next to the wall,(not part of or in the wall).18 mtrs away from the ruin an old abandoned house in a state of decay.
Must have been lived in at some point.
Very interesting to imagine who and when it was last used.
