The RavenRock Ridge is a mountain located in the Nantahala Forest that overlooks the Eagle Fork valley in Clay County NC. This cache was placed to highlight this area, and to give incentive to the adventurous cachers to explore it.
There are a number of ways to approach this challenge, so I will leave it up to you to study your maps and decide which one is appropriate for you.
You will be rewarded with stunning views from the top of this mtn. rock cliff.
On the way in,, you will see the wreckage of a plane that crashed on top of this mtn. many years ago.
I have rated it a four on terrain... There are approaches that would be higher and others would probably be lower.
