Geocache Description:

UK Mega Essex 2015
This cache is in memory of the BikerSam cache Time For A Brew? for which the co-ordinates to some clues were giving some people problems, which was a shame as it was a good cache.

We have amended the co-ordinates so they should now be accurate and have altered the final cache location slightly as the original was rather exposed. This multi-cache leads you around the market town of Saffron Walden. Market days are Tuesday and Saturday. There are also plenty of cafes to enjoy a hot drink and many little shops to browse in. Three clues will lead you out of town on a walk of less than a mile with no stiles - but it is not really buggy or wheelchair friendly as it can get a bit muddy at times. The above co-ordinates are for the 1st clue. How many balls can be seen on each face high up on the circular feature? You only need the number on one face. This number = X Clue 2 - go to N52.01.(X-3)62 E000.14.(X-4)57 What year did Richard Trott die = 17Y5 Clue 3 - go to N52.01.402 E000.14.Y00 You'll find a yellow hydrant at a "corner". What single digit is to be found in the upper part of the "H" = Z The final cache is a small tupperware box and can be found at N52.01.ZX(Y-2) E000.13.(Y+1)X(3Z) Some people have had difficulty finding the begining of the footpath to the final location, so the co-ords are N52.01.291 E000.14.053 which are some large gates at the end of Abbey Lane. Go through these and take the path to the right of the path straight on. If you take the footpath straight on you will then have to cross a small stream (only recommended for the agile!). The original cache was quite close to a landmark for which the cache title gave a clue, but the new location is slightly further away from this. Please take care to replace carefully so it is well hidden.
