Your Point of View Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Zeke & George: The neighborhood is becoming a gated community. The gate will be completed by the end of the week. What a shame! It is a long way to check on the cache but the view from the highest mountain is always inspiring. Also GZ had been bull dozed and the cache was buried. Just barely got the cache.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a short walk from the end of the road. Should not be to0 difficult a search for this unusually camoed container. But watch for the land mines. The neighbors must walk their pets in this area. This cache has been replaced twice. It does not match the previous containers shown in the picture gallery. Please do not take pictures of the new container.

My 2nd visit to this high point was to place the cache. My first was years ago to look at the view of Hot Springs soon after moving from Texas. We did not have mountains like this there.

The driver should not worry about the view. Just watch the road. There is not even a good view from the cache. Don’t even look for one. But at least you are hidden from the view of the residents. But your Point of View will change when you head down. Now it is worth the trip even without a cache. While there is not an overlook to stop at, you will be able to see from your car to the north toward the city, and to the east and south to mountains and valleys. Not recommended on wintry hazy days.

NOTE TO FELLOW CACHE PLANTERS: You will pass an interesting church and cemetery soon after leaving Hwy 7. DO NOT plant a cache there. The church members discussed and debated my request for 3 weeks before having a church wide vote and denying my request. Thank you for honoring their wishes. They are real nice people.
