Geocache Description:

Located at the least visited park in Minocqua. There is a small hill down. Can be reached by bike, walking, boat, car or snowmobile for snomocaching. Cache is a rubber maid container

Cache is located in Ruben Town on what was considered "the other side of the tracks" back in the day of Minocqua. After the main part of the island was settled the Rub's moved into this less desired part of town. It was a shack town that now has million dollar homes in it.

I found out about Cedar Park by talking to the Mincoqua town crew. It is only 60 feet wide and has a home on either side of it. About 15 - 20 years ago the town was told to either sell the access or do something with it. They put up a sign, a picnic table and a dock and Cedar Park was created. I have lived here my entire life and never known about this small piece of paradise on the island. It is perfect for anyone that does not want to deal with the chaos of Torpy Park and wants some solitude.

Grab lunch in town or bring something to grill. I am not sure if the swimming is sandy as we placed the cache in the winter.

As long as the snow is not too deep it would be accessible in the winter.
