Those of you who hike with me know I love the "Essence of
Sagebrush". So this short walk takes up a short trail to a very
sagebrushy area. This cache will be hard to retrive with out a
close encounter with a sagebrush or two.
Easy hike for you can take the kiddies on. Just don't let them
reach down and eat the "jelly beans" on the ground. This seems to
be a place the deer like to hang out and they have left plenty of
signs of this. I saw two not too far from the cache. But I wasn't
quick enough on the draw to get a picture of them.
Cache is under 300 feet from where you park, but if you take
the easy way it will be a bit more to walk. For the Xy's of the
valley you can make it a short 3.5 scramble.
