Come join in the 2008 Spring Kincaid Park CITO Cleanup – Southside Event.
Meet at 10am Sunday, April 20 at the South parking lot for Kincaid Park, off of Jodhpur Road. This is the parking area before you enter the motocross area at Jodhpur Park. We will have two hours to help clear this often forgotten side of Kincaid Park of much of the debris along the trail. With the snow receding quickly the ground should be clear and all of what has been hidden all winter will be visible and easy to be cleaned up. We will be cleaning up Kincaid Park and not Jodhpur Park.

Bring your enthusiasm and willingness to pitch in and help clean up one of Anchorage’s beautiful Parks. Garbage bags and gloves will be provided. If you have a favorite pair of work gloves bring them along. Feel welcome to bring along shovels, grabbers and anything else that may aid in picking up trash off of the trails.
Don’t forget to dress for the weather. The breeze from the Inlet can be chilly at times.
There will be prizes for some lucky participants.
Please add a note that you will attend if you are planning on being there for this event. This will help us coordinate with the Department of Parks & Recreation and ensure we have enough garbage bags and gloves for all volunteers.
Come join us in cleaning up the park and then feel free to join your fellow geocachers and work on cleaning out the park. I’ll see you at the CITO Event.
