Geocache Description:

You’re looking for a large-ish camo’ed lock ‘n lock container hidden along the Lost Lake Trail in the Cooking Lake Blackfoot Recreational Area.

“The Oak Tree at Buxton” is the second in series of three caches placed in the theme of “The Shawshank Redemption", one of my favourite movies. Actually the inspiration for the Shawshank theme came from the scenes when Red (played by Morgan Freeman) kept his promise to Andy (Tim Robbins) and made his way out to Buxton to look for an oak tree that, as Andy told him, had something buried under it. As Red approached the tree with his compass in hand, looking for the "treasure", I realized, he was caching! If you've seen the movie, you'll know what Red found there and I've tried to recreate that moment in this cache (with a bit of poetic license thrown in for fun).

The three caches in the series are:

Shawshank Prison (GC1AJCP)
The Oak Tree at Buxton
Zihuatanejo (GC1AJEJ)

This is not a trading cache. Please leave the contents of the cache intact as they are meant to at least nod towards recreating the events of the movie.

Have fun!
