This is a demanding series (five over five star for the final
multi-cache #11) of caches that span most of the Baden Powell Trail
starting at Deep Cove and running westward to the end of the BP
Trail where the new highway is being built.
There is a website that is dedicated to the caches and includes
hints, photos, spoilers and links to the other caches in the
series.
Speedhikers.com
There is also a nice twist to this series because some of the
caches hold hints to a BP Challenge multi cache (GC1BQ6A).
If you do this cache in the winter (October 1st through April
29th) there is parking near one of the trailheads. If not then you
will have to use one of the other trailheads and hike in a bit to
get to the bridge (see google map link in the support website).
After crossing the bridge (nice photo opportunity) it's all up
hill. You will be huffing and puffing when you get to the cache so
bring water and a snack. This is a relatively short hike so you
should be at the cache within 15 minutes. If you feel extra
energetic you can come at this cache from the Lynne Valley side and
make it a 1 hour hike to the cache. The cache is a medium sized
Lock-and-Lock with lots of camouflage so you will have to have a
keen eye to see it.
