This is a demanding series (five over five star for the final
multi-cache #11) of caches that span most of the Baden Powell Trail
starting at Deep Cove and running westward to the end of the BP
Trail where the new highway is being built.
There is a website that is dedicated to the caches and includes
hints, photos, spoilers and links to the other caches in the
series.
Speedhikers.com
There is also a nice twist to this series because some of the
caches hold hints to a BP Challenge multi cache (GC1BQ6A).
OK this one is a bit of a hike so put aside an hour or two to
get in and out. You can go for this cache from two directions
(check out the google map at the support website for details).
Both options are uphill and you will definitely be sweating when
you find the cache. The trail is great and you will pass through
several types of terrain to keep you on your toes.
In the winter months there will be snow along the trail so bring
snowshoes or some form of grippers for your hiking boots. When you
get close to this cache you will notice a bridge with a couple of
eyes in a stump at one end of it.
