The location is a 2.5 due to gradual slope of the land and having to step over timbers on the ground.
The cache is hidden on Lake Cumberland State Resort Park, where at one time the park was building a sewage system that was never completed for one reason or another. The walls were built up about one third of the way and some of the pipes were laid. The remains are just as they left it in the early 80s. So what a better place to hide a cache and call it "Flushed Away". This is one of the five permanent caches that I have placed to help kick off the park's geocaching event held on Earth Day weekend, April 18-20th, 2008. I also placed the caches to hopefully help promote geocaching in our area. I look forward to seeing many of the same names on my logs as I have seen on the 300+ that Robert and I have found. I am also placing my very first travel bug in the cache. Happy caching!!!!The cache has been stocked very well to start off the hunt. There is a mouse travel bug, toy tools, yo-yo, mini birdhouse, rubber chicken, sewing kit, toy binoculars, multi colored craft sticks, Blues Brothers sunglasses, rubber jar openers, nylon spatulas, "No fear, Jesus is here" key chain, "no speed limit during the rapture" key chain, four big wiggly eyes, bottle opener/corkscrew, sea horse, fish, starfish, beetles, multiple "when in doubt pray" bracelets, and last but not least, "Smile Jesus loves you" bouncy balls! Have fun!!!!!This cache was placed with permission from the park administrator.
