Geocache Description:

Who is that thinker that sits in Forrest?

Has your curiosity withered so that you drive by oblivious without wondering or perhaps wondering and never discovering?

When your parents play the bagpipes, then there is a custom you will know. You join others for supper, have a Wee Deoch an Doris, enjoy the delicious taste of Haggis and sing Auld Lang Syne.

Ok, so you have probably guessed who he is already. If you don't know then you will have to wait until you visit the memorial. Sshh!! don't tell! don't spoil!

After you gather some information at the memorial, you will drive or cycle to a park for a walk. There is a tenuous link between this memorial and the name of the park.

At the listed coordinates, behind the statue, there are four sets of two plaques (one with a picture, one with a verse excerpt). I will number them from 1 to 4 left to right.

Picture Plaque 1

A = Number of books on the cupboard
B = Number of panes in the window

Picture Plaque 2

C = Number of dogs
D = Number of horses

Picture Plaque 3

E = Number of horses

Picture Plaque 4

F = Number of plates on the top shelf
G = Number of vertical boards in the door
H = Number of window panes showing
I = Number of children present

Statue Sculptor (careful now - he is not Italian)

J = Number of letters in the first name
K = Number of letters in the last name

Statue unveiled on LM/N/19OP

The two-word name of the park is on the second slat of the sign.

R = Number of letters in the second word

Locate GZ by replacing the WP1 fractionals with the following

My sister makes excellent Scotch eggs and so I suppose I was thinking of a nest of eggs when I was hiding this cache
