Celebrate Earth Day 2008 by coming out and helping to clean
up one of the areas most scenic waterways - The Town
River.
With the cooperation of the West Bridgewater Conservation
Commission, we aim to clean up the area of the river around the
Scotland Street Bridge.
In addition to the trash on land, we'll need the help of anyone who
could come with a canoe to help remove items from the river.
We'll be meeting at around 9 a.m. at the bridge.
There's plenty of parking on the Bridgewater side of the river.
Work gloves and latex-free gloves will be provided. Feel free to
bring any rake, shovels, or other tools you think might be useful.
There will be a drawing for a CITO coin open to all who attend.
After the clean-up, there will be a get together with food and
drinks provided by the Conservation Commission.
