This cache is located on the Beaver Dam Trail in the Pymatuning State Park.
This cache is located on the only official trail in the Pymatuning State Park. There are other trails on the Pennsylvania side, but none in Ohio. The trail was built to take visitors through one of the most ecologically diverse wooded areas and to the only beaver dam in the park. This area is very rich in biodiversity so please make sure you stay on the trail. The cache is located off the trail that leads from the main hiking trail to a gazebo trail. The gazebo trail leads you to a gazebo that overlooks the actual beaver dam. The hiking trail starts and ends at the trailhead. The entire trail is over a mile long.
The shortest distance to the cache is to start on the trail to the left (when looking at the trailhead sign), find the cache, and backtrack to the trailhead.
This area used to have cache located in it, but it was archived over a year and half ago. In fact it was the first cache that I found.
The state park manager has given me permission to place another cache on the trail. This cache is in a completey different location than the old cache.
** You cannot get to the Beaver Lumberyard Cache from this area.
