Vista Park in Keswick is one of the highest points of land in
the Georgina area and conveniently looks over most of Cooks Bay and
the mouth of the Holland River. This park provides one of the most
amazing views of the lake that you will find anywhere along it's
shores.
Being that this park faces West, you will find that this park is
quite possibly the most amazing spot to take in a sunset or watch
the stars at night time. Please try to take some amazing pictures
of the view and post them to the cache! When at the cache location.
Face North and notice the near 260 degree vista view. Such an aptly
named park.
Also in the vicinity of the cache is Keswick's first water
tower. Although this isn't much of a "Tower" as such, it is a
unique landmark that can be seen from all the way across the lake
in Innisfil. You might also notice that from this viewpoint, if you
look to the North and slightly West, you can see the Barrie Tower
well in the distance.
Parking can be unmistakably found at the end of West Park
Heights Road at the cul-de-sac. This is the "Official" park
parking. Be advised that parking here is only available until 9pm.
There's no gates as such, but thats what the signs say. Just
relaying the info.
