Welcome to
my Swamp!
My home is in a nearby tiny -- and
sometimes swampy -- island forest not too far from the picture
above; see posted coordinates for actual cache location. While
sleuthing around in this 'forest' might be a little too thorny for
very young cachers, the cache was furnished with kids of
all ages in mind.
It's full of swag items for the geo-kiddos
so have them take one but don't feel obliged to trade back in
return -- unless it's something swamp-related, of course. Do let me
know when it's time to refill. The only favor I ask is to
please put the cache back EXACTLY as
found (and no pictures of its
contents, lest you want to spoil the fun for others).
You can hike or bike to this place: it's a
nice relaxing stroll and no bushwhacking required save for the last
30 feet or so. Accessible from several directions... length of hike
all depends on where you start, but there are some shortcuts if you
plan ahead carefully. Do watch out
for muggles suddenly drifting in from 'afar' before entering the
island forest.
