Geocache Description:

(The very first "Peanuts" comic strip.)

Since their first appearance on October 2, 1950, Charlie Brown and the "Peanuts" gang have been a significant part of Americana. On the surface, the comic strip follows the daily rituals of a small group of children. A closer look, however, reveals lessons on everything from politics (think the "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" special) to creativity (Snoopy is often working on a novel that begins, "It was a dark and stormy night," but seldom gets any further). Charles Schulz, the genius behind the characters, died on February 12, 2000, and the original (Sunday) strips ended one day later. A staggering total of 17,897 "Peanuts" strips were published.

You're looking for a micro that's been camouflaged ever so slightly. When you find it, you just might repeat What Charlie Brown Says. Try not to give away the "statement" in your log. Have fun!

"I think I've discovered the secret of life: you just hang around until you get used to it."--Charles M. Schulz
