Geocache Description:

Deer Hunter:

Thanks for your invite to your forest in which you are not allowed to hunt. I am sure you paid attention to this as your area is clearly defined as to where you can hunt or NOT but I do not want to insult you. Just to let you know, this is another in the Columbia series in which you have agreed to turn a blind eye to and let us come without a quiver from you. Bambi roams this area home on the range, or is that out of range. Regardless, I know we will enjoy the area as we look for "treasures" in the woods. I tell you this is an area that we have to work through all kinds of stuff we refer to as terrain and really have to improvise to achieve satisfaction and our goal. Rest assured things are looking up for all people called cachers.

In closing, I trust we can share the woods together without you pointing any slings and arrows at us if we promise not to point our compass arrow at you.

Respectfully yours,
Walkaboutlost

PS. Walkaboutlost is a big hypocrite as he has a hunting license he has NEVER used, additionally he did not hurt any wildlife in placing of this cache (cows included).

PPS. He did get his "butt" chased by a Grizzly in Canada and survived to tell about it and even has the pics to prove it(though they look like postcards)... thought he was shooting pepper spray instead of the camera lens.

A reminder.... this is truly a bushwhacking cache - do NOT expect to find nice trails to follow or even direct routes depending on the time of the year and the recent weather. Suggested crossing provided if most direct route is not suitable to you.

Note: The road to the parking area is NOT maintained in the winter. Access is possible but you may have to park at a snowplow created road block.

While in the area for some more frustrating FUN try:
Bellmay Micro Maze GCXMQQ or some of the other Columbia "bushwacking" series...
