While running away,
Frodo hears the Black Riders.
"Get off the road! Quick!"
Searching for cover,
They hide under some tree roots.
Nazgul smells their fear.
Anlässlich meiner Neuseeland Ferien 2003, war ich an einigen originalen LOTR Drehorten. Die ‚get of the road’ Szene wurde am Mount Victoria als erste Szene von ‚Die Gefährten’ gedreht. Mount Victoria liegt mitten in der City von Wellington. Im Film war die Wurzel aus Gips und im Studio gebaut, aber hier in Liestal ist sie echt!
Viel Spass und achtet auf die Nazgul welche immer wieder mal nach dem einen Ring suchen

On the occasion of my New Zealand holidays 2003, I’ve been at some original LOTR movie locations. ‚The get of the road' scene was filmed at Mount Victoria as the first scene of ‚The Fellowship of the Ring’. Mount Victoria is in the middle of Wellington. In the film the root was gypsum and built in the studio, but here in Liestal it is genuine! Have fun and pay attention to the Nazgul which is on the search from time to time for the one ring.
