EclectEcon: It is so tempting to try to place another cache along the non-existent streets of Clinton, but given that two have been muggled from this site and that there are continued signs of human activity near the cache site, it is time to give up on this particular location. Maybe later we can place a different cache up the non-existent road a bit farther.

btw, thanks to everyone who let us know about the DNFs so we knew to look for it.

Geocache Description:

The cache is a 3"-diameter camouflage-taped lock-lock container placed near the intersection of Newton Street and North Street in Clinton.

The fun thing about this cache placement is that even though Newton Street and College Street show up on some maps, they do not show up on others (yet) and do not really exist.

Please note: although this stretch of North Street does not appear on some maps, it is presently a gravel service road and might not be easy to drive on or turn around on during heavy snow or bad weather.

The cache had disappeared sometime over the winter, and so we replaced it in March, 2009 in a spot about 4 feet from the original hiding place. Please replace it carefully.
