Little evidence remains today of the immense size and density of
Knaresborough Forest names in the main to remind us. The favourite
hunting grounds of King John where he hunted the wild boar (wild?
they were livid)
This recently be quested piece of parkland houses some of the
oldest and largest trees left in the area.
Maybe a picnic area of the future this area is most frequented
by dog walkers having walked the area I am pleased to say that it
would appear responsible dog walkers as the area is very clean
unlike many local caching sites have become.
Although access is through a doorway I am not aware of any
limitations on the hours of accessibility to the park, though I
would view it as a daytime cache.
The cache is a video box size container with small amount of
swops would suit postcards well. This is the first cache to be set
using my new GPS so I hope that there will be no need for a
clue
However I have provided one just in case.
