The cache is placed at the entrance to Crowdy Reservoir and can be a cache and dash but I highly recommend driving down to the car park to see the dam and surrounding area.
It is an excellent area for birdwatchers and there is a hide which is owned by South West Water and South West Lakes Trust which is unlocked. It can be accessed via the footpath from the dam car park or the path along the edge of the woodland.
The cache is a small clip lock box holding a log sheet and small swaps. There is room for small TBs and geocoins. There is an unactivated blue pig geocoin as a FTF prize.
