This cache is located near the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail about a half mile north of Lower Ferry Road in Ewing. The cache is a large screw lid plastic bottle.
The cache is easily accessible and contains a log and some trade items with a toy theme, but feel free to trade any items. Kids should enjoy the short hike/bike along the canal on a nice day. You can park in the area on Lower Ferry Road adjacent to the canal that is used for fishing access. Use stealth in looking for the cache as this area is very popular with hikers, bikers and fishermen, especially when the weather is nice. The cache is the eighth in the series to extend the line of caches located along the D & R Canal State Park hiking trail which follows the abandoned railroad tracks. Other caches in this series are located in the area north of Lambertville. I hope you enjoy your travels along the D & R Canal. Views of the Delaware River are available all along the way.
