A traditional cache on hallowed ground near the end of runway #1.
Welcome to Jacksonville International Airport. This cache is placed about a half mile from the NW end of runway #1 (the only runway). It is NOT on airport property. If you find yourself staring a Cessna in the face, you are in the WAY WRONG place. This is the remains of what was once Ebenezer Church. It's not much more than a hole in the ground now. The cache is hidden, but no excavation will be needed. Be very careful as the foundation is collapsing into the basement - BUT the cache is NOT in the basement. It is on level ground NEAR the basement. Feel free to take out any trash you find - and boy is there a LOT! Seriously, the foundation has mostly collapsed. You do NOT need to enter the building. The cache is up on ground level. Moderate bushwhacking is required.
