Geocache Description:

Located in Maybury State Park. State Park sticker or day pass is needed to enter park. You will find this cache along the History Trail in the park, which has info about the Maybury Sanatorium, a tuberculosis treatment center from 1921 to 1969.

Cache is a short walk off of a paved trail. Watch out for poison ivy. Container is a wide mouthed plastic jar with a screw top lid. Once you find the History Trail marker explaining about the Sanatorium Entrance, walk about 40 paces back along the paved path, then leave the path and walk about 20 paces north off the path. You will find the remains of the Sanatorium entrance sign foundation.
