Located near Hancock Brook Dam. This is our first of our series paying tribute to Bev Doolittle, the wildlife camoflage artist. Since bears have been spotted here lately we thought this spot would be perfect for Doubled Back.
This 2 mile journey will take you on and off the blue trail in between Army Corps property and State property,over 2 streams, up a steep hill, through a little mud and over a few rocks but enjoy the trip. If you expect to see a bear or two you probably won't, just a few locals riding quads and dirt bikes. No it's not a legal area to ride but they stop and are very kind to hikers.
