Geocache Description:

Highest point on Cathedral that can be reached on foot. Elevation 4820. Views are breathtaking.

Cache with log inside a small Geocaching.com container. Park at Cathedral Rock trailhead off Back O' Beyond Road and take trail to second Cathedral saddle. The trail provides an exciting but hard climb, but you'll find many tourists doing it. This is the easy part. At the first saddle go left and climb to the second saddle along a lava intrusion. Here's where you leave the tourists behind. Climb down from the second saddle heading toward Verde Valley School Road, I believe you will be headed southwest. At the bottom of that crevasse turn right to the waypoints I have listed to begin your assault up another crevasse to the cache site that is located at what I believe is the highest point to be reached on Cathedral without technical climbing. Unless you reach the tree in the photo "Swing Left" you are in the wrong place. The tree is at the top of the assault route crevasse and is probably within 100' of the cache. If you have gotten this far there is nothing any more difficult or dangerous to overcome than what you have accomplished, you are within striking distance.
