Geocache Description:

Placed with thanks to the York-Leicester Kiwanis. This cache is dedicated to kids, so bring your caching buddy! You can drive down into the park from Rte. 36, or you can park in the church parking lot off of Rte. 20, (may be recommended in the winter) just please be courteous and not park there during Sunday AM church hours.
The FTF prize, a matching set of adult and youth tee-shirts is for the fisrt ADULT-CHILD TEAM who finds the cache, although others my claim bragging rights.

At part one (the posted coords.) you will find a set of coordinates for the final find.

Part 2 is a 30 cal. ammo can filled with toys and fun kid stuff. The coords. may bounce a little here, just remember that you do NOT need to get wet to find this cache (unless you want to).

This cache is designed to be able to be found by an average school age kid, therefore if any kids have trouble with it call our cell 585-451-4988, and we will gladly help. Adults are on their own!

Starr park is named after Cora Starr who donated the land for the park. It has been built and beautifully maintained by the York-Leicester Kiwanis.
This park holds many fond memories for Jan. Her family has been very active in Kiwanis, and she was there as a child with her father when the playground was being built. the pavillion is dedicated to her Grandfather. She worked as a teen counselor in the summer youth recreation program. Both Howie and Jan raised their children in the area and spent many hours there with their kids, and now reap the benefit of being able to play here with their grand children.

In the summer, enjoy the playground, wade in the stream and hunt crayfish, or roll down the hill until you get dizzy.

In the winter, bring your sled and hot cocoa, this park has one of the best sliding hills around.
