Cette cache devrait en fait se nommer "MONT ROME CHATEAU", du nom de la petite montagne près du joli village de "St Sernin du Plain" en Bourgogne (Saône et loire).
Je la nomme "MON" car le village est celui de ma jeunesse où j'ai passé tant de bons moments, et cette montagne m'avait toujours attiré pour sa vue splendide certes, mais surtout pour l'enchevêtrement de roches calcaires ou l'on peut crapahuter, explorer des grottes, se cacher quand on est jeune ... et aussi depuis une quinzaine d'années pratiquer l'escalade sur quelques voies bien équipées de 10 à 20 mètres de haut. J'ai donc parcouru tous ces endroits des dizaines et dizaines de fois !
Il s'agit d'une petite multicache que vous pouvez faire assez rapidement lors d'un passage en cette région, et rassurez vous, facilement sans être obligé de grimper!
Les
coordonnées indiquées ci-dessus sont celles du
Parking en haut de la montagne, mais
attention, un indice à St Sernin du Plain (
à WP1) est
à relever AVANT de prendre la petite route d'accès, et donc un peu
AVANT ce parking.

Vous êtes à 390m d'altitude, combien vous reste-t-il de mètres à monter ? Soit A ce nombre.
Prenez maintenant cette petite route devant vous qui vous mène en voiture jusqu'en haut de la montagne où vous pourrez vous garer.

Pour trouver B, admirez tous ces gros blocs de rocher près de vous. Le plus proche fait d'un coté environ 20m de hauteur. Le sommet de celui-ci est-il:
Nettement plus haut que vous ? B = 100
Nettement en dessous de vous ? B = 200
A votre niveau ? B = 400

Voir les Spoilers (d'accès à 10m et de près) Pour accèder à la cache, ne pas descendre, passez juste un creux (en traversant un buisson, 1 m de profondeur) pour atteindre un petit plateau herbeux. La cache est dans la faille à gauche sous des pierres. Attention, vous êtes très près du bord de la falaise, mais vous pouvez attraper la boite facilement et sans danger.

This cache should actually be called in french "MONT ROME CHATEAU", the name of the small mountain near the pretty village of "St Sernin of the Plain" in BOURGOGNE (Saône et Loire).
I called it "MY" ROME CHATEAU because this village is that of my youth, where i spent so many good moments, and this mountain always attracted me not only for its splendid view, but especially for the tangle of big rocks where you can trudge, explore caves, hiding when you are young ... and also for about fifteen years practice climbing on well equipped routes, some twenty meters high. So I walked around all these places dozens and dozens of times!
It is a small multicache that you can do fairly quickly visiting this region, and reassure yourself, easily without having to climb!
The
coordinates given above are those of the
Parking at the top of the mountain, but beware, a
first clue is in St Sernin du Plain
at WP1,
BEFORE taking the small access road, and therefore a little
BEFORE this Parking .

Take now with your car this small road in front of you, that leads to the top of the mountain.

To find B, admire all these large blocks of rocks in front of you. The closest is about 20m high on one side. The summit of this latter is it :

don't go down, just cross a very small ravine (with a bush, 1 m depth) a
nd reach a small grassy plateau. The cache is
in the hole left, under stones. Be careful, you are very close to the edge of the cliff, but you can catch the box easily and safely.
