.4 Miles from one cache to the other. Only two caches. Plan to walk this one. From parking lot round trip is est. 1 mile. Please be considerate of disc muggles on holes 18 and 4.
There is a tree that I found that struck me as profound. Only my opinion. I was walking in the woods and realized this tree had been injured. Half stood straight up and half lay broken down.
You'll notice there is plenty of flat ground to sit on and think about how this tree could resemble many of us. From the tree tops and on the surface there is a beautiful and healthy tree, but underneath the cover, there is twisted brokenness. A type of carnage that others may frown at.
But perhaps this could be a strength. Others could be helped through the disfigured parts of the tree.
Vines can reach upwards. Spiders can weave their webs. New life can spring forth with it's base intertwined in the underlying sorrow.
Maybe I am looking into this too much, but I'm sending you there to tell me what you think.
There is a walk ahead and hopefully on a hot day, you'll be able to sweat and begin preparing your mind for a little meditation.
Or you could just grab the cache and be on your way.
On a side note: PLEASE be careful with the caches. They are actually quite fragile and will break if dropped.
