Placed as my contribution to the CITO 2008 event.
This cache is located adjacent to Henrietta Edwards Park, the
location for the Edmonton 2008 CITO event. It is located in a
little gully completely surrounded by busy roads. To find the
cache, I suggest parking at the Edmonton Paddlewheeler and
crossing
the side road.
The intersection above and around you is my most detested array
of
road madness in the city. It is what happens when two major
bridges
and about 10 different roads come together at one congested
entrance to downtown. This is Edmonton's very own version
of the
Pentagon
Mixing Bowl. Interestingly, in this little gully, you
would never know that thousands of commuters pass by here
every
day. It's quite a peaceful little park.
Do not park on the major roads. Watch your little ones, since
there
is lots traffic nearby.
And make sure you practice CITO. Lots of passersby like to
dispose
of their garbage out the window, and it unfortunately ends up
in
this little park.
