This cache was hidden for the SCAR event, and should not be
sought out until after 5:30 pm on May 30th. Any logs posted before
that will be deleted.
I remembered back when I found Golden Crown that this would be a
great place to hide more caches, so that's what I've done! Since
Golden Crown is basically a park-and-grab, I figured I'd plant
something for someone who needs to do more than just stretch their
legs. Expect some climbing and bushwhacking! There are thorns and
burrs in the area. In fact, it's the first time I remember ever
getting burrs in my hair!
There is an obvious place to climb from if you park at the
coordinates provided below. There is also an old road a little
further south, but it is very rutted (check out the photo). I wish
I had gotten a picture that showed where parts of the road were
washed out about 3' deep! It's fine for hiking, but I wouldn't
recommend anyone but the most diehard of 4x4 drivers to attempt it.
The main reason why I mention it at all is that there is a great
view of the old Borden Bridge from there. Check it out!
Cache is an ammo can with a variety of trade items. FTF is
welcome to take an item without trading. Enjoy!

Edit July 13/08 - New container hidden. Also added a waypoint
for the closest trailhead for those who are not keen on
bushbashing. If you do happen to find a camouflage-painted ammo can
please take it and rehide it somewhere else. I couldn't find it and
there were previous DNFs, so I think it was likely muggled.
