Did you know that Rome has an outdoor amphitheater, along the Mohawk River, that was built in 1966. It was called the Kent Amphitheater and was built as part of the Fort Stanwix Day's Celebration which is now the Honor America Days celebration.

The real gem in this cache is where it brings you. A place that no one really knows exists.
Can be a bit overgrown in the summer. May need to do a little bushwacking and definitely BRING THE BUG SPRAY.
The new Mohawk River trail runs right next to the old amphitheater.
