As of spring 2008, there were no geocaches within 6 miles of my parents' retirement home on Bowstring Lake. This cache was placed to remedy that, and also to give my mother (who is interested in geocaching) a nearby cache to help maintain.
FTF goes to: Loaner!
The cache is located at the Bowstring Public Water Access on the northeast shore of Bowstring Lake. Take County Road 35 to the lake, and turn south onto Pagoda Road. Then a quick right toward the PWA (follow the Public Water Access signs).
You're searching for a black .30-cal. ammo box that shouldn't be too tough to find. Stealth may be required during non-winter months when many boaters are using the launch.
